Kipping is the act of swinging, or moving your body in such a way that it creates momentum, which makes an exercise easier or faster. Kipping is a popular technique used in Crossfit style training. Crossfit often requires exercises to be done as fast as possible, so kipping helps to accomplish that. Exercises that it can be used on are pull-ups, handstand push-ups, toes to bars, and muscle ups.
