A repetition is a single complete movement of an exercise. Every repetition should be in the full range of motion and with the correct form of the lift. The figure above shows a single repetition of a clean and jerk. A set consists of multiple repetitions. Unless you are trying to find your maximal strength, most lifts are done with multiple repetitions in conjunction
