This shoulder stretch is probably one of the easiest and popular stretches done to lengthen the muscles of your upper arm. It can be done to warm-up before shoulder exercises like the upright row. It can also be done to warm-up before cardio training that involves the arms, like kickboxing.

This stretch is done by crossing one arm across your body while the other arm pulls it towards your chest. You will feel the stretch in the posterior side of your shoulder.
